Same Intention, New Look!

Hello, friend! Online booking is still OPEN, but I've taken July as an opportunity to practice "summer sabbath"- resting from social media and spending time in contemplation about the existing vision that I have for Numa Yoga & Spiritual Direction. The question I'm deeply exploring is:

What does it look like, feel like, and sound like to be a "Christian yoga sanctuary in the wilderness?"

While Numa Yoga's heart and mission hasn't changed at all, the way it postures itself will pivot just slightly. Some new and exciting changes are coming not only aesthetically, but also foundationally (spell check says that isn't a word, but I think you get me). I have more to share than space to write so, I'll simply reveal Numa's roots:

1. "Numa" is inspired by the Greek word, pneuma which means: Breath of life; Holy Spirit.

This has always been the meaning behind Numa Yoga & Spiritual Direction and my hope is to just let that shine a little more in both the outer appearance and under currents of Numa Yoga.

2.  "The spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life." Job 33:4

I’ve been carrying this verse around for months, but couldn’t bring myself to base a ministry on such a question-filled book of the bible. BUT. God has shown me that this is exactly where a ministry should be- right in the middle of our Job-seasons. In the midst of our wonder, worry, doubt and confusion, let’s come back to this one truth: We are God’s beloved creation and his constant presence with us is as near to us as our breath. Numa Yoga & Spiritual Direction will simply seek to remind you of your breath and hold space for you and God to meet in the middle.

There's so much more I want to say, but I'll leave it at that for now.  Online booking is still OPEN during website construction and the new site will launch on August 1st! I would love, love, love to journey with you this month toward a more personal relationship with God and a deeper knowing of yourself! Together, let's come back to center.

Holding space,
